Touched Theatre works collaboratively to involve words, physicality, live music, light and especially objects and puppets at the heart of the company’s creativity.
Touched Theatre tells stories that belong to audiences. We seek to make high quality contemporary theatre that connects audiences to the ideas we are exploring, from loss and memory to change and identity. We do this by collaborating with community and youth groups and in schools, running creative projects that can complement shows or help to build them. Touched Theatre connects audiences with artists to make work that speaks to the communities it comes from.
Touched Theatre is led by writer / dramaturg Beccy Smith and puppeteer / performer Darren East.
