Headcase
Headcase is Touched Theatre's exciting new show.

Cassie’s locked herself in with only a goldfish for company, but someone else is knocking at the door. Who is she hiding from, what exactly is under the bed and can she ever learn to live with what she knows about herself?

Combining tabletop puppetry and object theatre with powerful dance and visual theatre, Headcase shares the real experiences of a made up, mixed up teenager as she struggles to come to terms with what's going on inside her own head.

Moving, playful and true, join Cassie on an unforgettable journey into the surreal landscapes of our states of mind.

Headcase
is at the Nightingale Theatre in Brighton on 22nd-24th May at 7pm - tickets available here -
and
South Street in Reading on 26th September.

Grown out of workshops bringing together puppetry, dance, object- and miniature-theatre artists; and workshops with a variety of young people who've experienced mental health issues, we're very excited about this new show and, based on audience feedback from recent showings, we think you will be too.

Our collaborators for Headcase are:
- Dance performer Yael Karavan (Derevo, Mamu Dance Theatre, Karavan Ensemble)
- Puppeteer-performer Annie Brooks
- Musician Hannah Miller of The Moulettes ('prog folk's most experimental troubadours' -
Latest 7)
- Designer Cordelia Chisholm

'Fantastic, amazing puppetry, really great images' (audience member at Headcase showing, Autumn 2011)
